6027 - Building Maintenance Labourer

We are currently looking for a labourer to join our general services and maintenance department. The person will be responsible for various operational support tasks, including material transport, internal moves, and general facilities maintenance. The role requires great versatility, good communication, attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Here will be your main responsibilities:

• Transport and distribute materials and supplies to various departments, using appropriate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Assist in organizing and executing internal moves of offices, workstations, and equipment.
  • Disassemble and reassemble office furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure adequate protection of items during transport to prevent damage.
• Participate in preventive maintenance, as well as minor repairs and equipment installation.
• Ensure the collection and management of waste and recyclable materials.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for corporate events or meetings.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for deliveries and interventions.
• Work closely with other members of the maintenance team and the company's various departments.

Requirements

• Basic experience and skills in maintenance and repair.
• Good organization and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in varied environments (indoor and outdoor) and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Assets

• Training in maintenance or logistics, and fork-lift truck operation.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety.
• Knowledge of building or general mechanics.
