SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the customer, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
- Act as a lead on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects;
- Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
- Perform the tasks and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Respect the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
TRAINING AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Valid Transport Canada Category E License mandatory;
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience;
- Work experience on business aircraft considered an asset;
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational skills;
- Attention to detail; positive attitude; good teamwork skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and other computer applications;
- Flexibility to work according to the assigned shift (weekend/night).
EDUCATION:
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician / Avionics Diploma or equivalent.
