SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the customer, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
• Act as a lead on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Perform the tasks and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Respect the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

TRAINING AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Valid Transport Canada Category E License mandatory;
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience;
• Work experience on business aircraft considered an asset;
• Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational skills;
• Attention to detail; positive attitude; good teamwork skills;
• Strong communication skills;
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and other computer applications;
• Flexibility to work according to the assigned shift (weekend/night).

EDUCATION:

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician / Avionics Diploma or equivalent.
