SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the client, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
- Act as a "lead" on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and will be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects;
- Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
- Carry out the duties and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with standard Transport Canada regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Adhere to the SMS "Safety Management System" policy;
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist with all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Valid Transport Canada Category E license;
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related position;
- Experience working with corporate aircraft types is an asset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Attention to detail; Have a positive attitude; Good team spirit; Good communication skills.
- Flexible to work assigned shifts. (weekend/night)

- Aircraft Maintenance/Avionics Technician diploma or equivalent
