SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the customer, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
• Act as a "lead" on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Carry out the duties and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Respect the SMS policy "Safety Management System";
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Valid Transport Canada Category E License;
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related position;
• Work experience with corporate type aircraft is an asset;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Attention to detail; Positive attitude; Good teamwork spirit; Good communication skills;
• Flexible to work assigned shifts (weekend/night).

EDUCATION:

• Aircraft Maintenance/Avionics Technical Diploma or equivalent
