SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the client, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
- Act as a "lead" on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects;
- Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
- Perform the duties and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Respect the SMS policy "Safety Management System";
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist in any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Valid Transport Canada Category E License;
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related position;
- Experience working with corporate type aircraft is an asset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Attention to detail; Positive attitude; Good teamwork; Good communication skills.
- Flexible to work assigned shifts (weekend/night).
EDUCATION:
- Aircraft Maintenance/Avionics Technical Diploma or equivalent
