RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:

• Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the client, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
• Act as "lead" on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and will be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects;
• Ensure all aircraft documents are properly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on aircraft is certified;
• Perform the duties and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with standard Transport Canada regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Respect the SMS "Safety Management System" policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Valid Transport Canada Category E license;
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related position;
• Work experience with corporate aircraft types is an asset;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Attention to detail; Have a positive attitude; Good team spirit; Good communication skills.
• Flexible to work assigned shifts. (weekend/night)

• Aircraft maintenance/avionics technician diploma or equivalent
