SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the client, either in the hangar or on the ramp.
• Act as the lead on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects.
• Ensure that all aircraft documentation is duly completed.
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified.
• Carry out the tasks and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations.
• Attend training courses as assigned by management.
• Comply with the SMS (Safety Management System) policy.
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Assist with any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Valid Transport Canada Category E license.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related position.
• Experience working with corporate-type aircraft is an asset.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail; positive attitude; strong team spirit; good communication skills.
• Flexible to work assigned shifts (weekends/nights).

EDUCATION:

• Diploma in aircraft maintenance/avionics technician or equivalent.
