IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Aircraft Maintenance Service Manager YQA

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively execute all commercial aircraft maintenance activities on demand in the hangar and on the ramp;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Carry out tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Comply with the SMS ("Safety Management System") policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist with all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Valid Transport Canada M2 license;
• Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience;
• 737 Max, A320 and 747 certifications an asset;
• Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Attention to detail;
• Have a positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• Aircraft maintenance technician diploma or equivalent.
