IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Maintenance Service Manager, YQA

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all commercial aircraft maintenance activities efficiently on request in the hangar and on the ramp;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Carry out the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Comply with the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist with any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Valid Transport Canada M2 category licence;
• Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience;
• Certifications for 737 Max, A320 and 747 are an asset;
• Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
• Good organizational sense and ability to work under pressure;
• Attention to detail;
• Positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• Aircraft maintenance technician diploma or equivalent.
