Buyer – Detail Parts and Materials | A220 Program (6-month contract)

As part of the A220 program, we are looking for a Buyer – Detail Parts and Materials to support procurement and supplier management activities.

You will be responsible for managing calls for tender, negotiating and monitoring supplier contracts, while ensuring the achievement of objectives in terms of costs, quality, deadlines and performance.

You will work in close collaboration with suppliers as well as with various internal teams to ensure the performance of the supply chain throughout the life cycle of the contracts.

Your main responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for a portfolio of detail parts and materials;
• Prepare, launch and manage calls for tender (RFQ/RFP) with suppliers;
• Analyze commercial proposals and negotiate prices, deadlines, contractual conditions and procurement terms;
• Participate in the selection of suppliers in collaboration with the various internal stakeholders;
• Ensure the implementation, monitoring and compliance of supplier contracts;
• Manage the daily relationship with suppliers and act as the main point of contact for commercial subjects;
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in terms of costs, quality, delivery, logistics and support;
• Identify performance gaps and implement, with suppliers and internal teams, the necessary corrective action plans;
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimization of total cost of acquisition (TCO);
• Identify and anticipate risks related to suppliers, production capacities, costs and continuity of supply;
• Participate in cross-functional teams including notably the Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Program functions;
• Ensure the monitoring of suppliers during the various phases of the life cycle: development, industrialization, series production and support;
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements and applicable compliance rules.
