Purchasing Agent - Engineering Intellectual Services

You have experience in call for tenders management and you have a technical background allowing you to work with engineering teams, you have worked in the field of aerospace purchasing and you want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for one (1) buyer (m/f) for the purchasing portfolio related to engineering services. Join the General Purchasing team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the America and Europe purchasing teams, as well as the Engineering and Finance departments.

You will be part of the General Purchasing team responsible for carrying out the following purchasing activities:

Definition of the purchasing strategy

Management of calls for tenders

Negotiation of supplier offers (price negotiation)

Contractual negotiation

Your role as a buyer will be to coordinate the expression of need of the Engineering services located in Mirabel, by providing support for the drafting of specifications common with Europe, to ensure that the strategy defined for the Group's global calls for tenders is taken into account by the engineering teams and to work with the senior Engineering Services buyer for the preparation and execution of these global calls for tenders.

Your challenges:

• Bring the Engineering teams to work with their counterparts in Europe for the drafting of specifications
• Manage the relationship with the Engineering teams to get them to respect the deadlines of the call for tenders
• Consolidate the information necessary for the launch of the call for tenders with the Finance and Engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with commitments towards the America and Europe purchasing services
• Work in close collaboration with the America and Europe purchasing services for the preparation and execution of calls for tenders
• Participate in the analysis of offers and help evaluate them during the various rounds of calls for tenders
• Participate in meetings for preparation and execution in support of the senior engineering buyer
