Non-Production Facility Management / Working Environment Buyer M/F

Safran Purchasing is in charge of pooled purchasing for the entire Group: this concerns non-production purchases and material purchases. It leads the deployment of Target Purchasing Policies on behalf of the Group by performing all acts necessary for the proper execution of Services.

The Buyer within Safran Purchasing is an actor who ensures the daily management of their purchasing segments within the domain and intervenes on a transverse scope.

The Buyer is in direct interface with the Pole Manager, in transverse action with prescribers. In this context, internal/external customer relationship management plays an important role.

As part of our development, we are looking for a Buyer who will actively participate in the management of calls for tenders as well as the updating of the Target Purchasing Policy of their segments in coordination with the Market Manager carrying the Facility Management segment mainly related to the working environment.

We work in adequacy with development plans and always with the ambition to improve the performance and competitiveness of the Group's Companies.

This position is oriented towards knowledge of the Purchasing professions.

Their actions will be under the piloting of the Pole Manager and in perfect cooperation with the Market Manager and the prescribers of the various entities of the Group.

It is through the search for improvement opportunities that you will be a force of proposal to promote progress actions within the Sites of the Group Companies and thus participate in their Performance and Competitiveness.

Your missions will be as follows:

• Participate in the updating of the Target Purchasing Policy on a group of purchasing segments.
• Consolidate Group RFQ needs in close collaboration with prescribers.
• Propose the choice of suppliers to introduce to the panel in coherence with the Purchasing Policy.
• Ensure supplier monitoring in conjunction with the Pole Manager in compliance with commitments signed by the latter.
• Contribute to the optimization and standardization of needs, to opportunity analyses for the sites for which you are responsible.
• Set up framework agreements in compliance with the defined Target Purchasing Policy.
• Guarantee economic and performance data in the synthesis tool (CAP) used by Safran Purchasing.

You will be the guarantor of the proper respect of our purchasing processes, of the reliability of purchasing data on your Framework contracts.

This position is based in Bordes and will require travel to the sites that make up your panel, particularly in France but also to our international sites.

Purchasing knowledge in the waste management, water, and work clothing sector would be a plus.

A Bac+5 training, with a level of experience required of 5 years in purchasing, ERP knowledge type SAP and good mastery of Office Pack and especially Excel are necessary.

You master purchasing and negotiation techniques and the supplier consultation process.
