Responsibilities
- Consolidate all cross-functional activities of the team (projects / planning / costs / risks & opportunities) by commodity.
- Set up and manage governance and the team's activity calendar (roadmap review, internal governance, SteerCo interactions, etc.).
- Support deployment of the team dashboard and drive the pace of activities.
- Occasionally implement governance for new projects: meeting structure, project tracking system, KPI and action tracking.
- Participate in developing the roadmap and the annual plan for the evolution of purchasing strategies.
- Contribute to sourcing activities, manage tenders and contract negotiations to obtain the best purchasing conditions.
- Monitor contracts (innovation, development, production and support phases) with suppliers and internal partners to ensure full application of terms and that deliverables meet expected performance (logistics, support, quality, cost, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and ongoing projects to maximize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) and risk.
- Lead one or more Sub-MFTs and participate in MFTs/MDTs (multi-functional/multi-divisional teams) throughout tendering, negotiation and contract execution phases.
- Contribute to implementing digital solutions.
- Comply with Airbus procedural documents.
Qualifications
- Degree equivalent to or higher than a master's in management, project management, purchasing or a related field.
- Experience in supply/procurement, preferably more than 8 years in the aerospace sector (Procurement & SC - Buyer Aerospace - Medium / Senior).
- Effective contractual knowledge and international negotiation skills with proven commercial and contractual experience and legal knowledge.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in supplier relationship management and procurement, or equivalent experience managing external stakeholders.
- Advanced level of English and a working knowledge of French required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management: listening and negotiation.
- Conflict management, communication and intercultural skills in an international context.
- Ability to be flexible, pragmatic and analytical with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently within international teams in a demanding and constantly changing environment.
- Languages: English and French (fluent).
Terms & benefits
- Salary: 95K (annual).
- Hours: 40 h / week.
- Group insurance: eligibility from day 1 of employment, subject to eligibility conditions.
- Pension plan: eligibility after four weeks of continuous service.
