  • Act as a technical reference and mentor for other administrators and IT technicians.
  • Provide operational backup for the IT manager as needed: team coordination, tracking priorities and managing escalations.
  • Contribute to maintaining development environments for engineering teams and to the DevSecOps toolchain.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 platforms and endpoint management (Intune/Defender) at an advanced level of expertise.
  • Support the execution of operational compliance controls related to CMMC, CP‑CSC and applicable privacy laws.
  • Document system configurations, procedures and architectures, and ensure they are continuously updated.
  • Collaborate with the solutions architect on the integration of new platforms and cloud migrations.

Qualifications

Assets we are looking for:

  • Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Windows/Linux systems administration, including at least 2 years in a senior or advanced role.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune and endpoint security tools (Defender for Endpoint).
  • Experience with DevSecOps environments and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring and priority management skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (CMMC, CP‑CSC, ISO 27001) and the ability to operationalize controls.
  • Excellent communication, analysis and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bilingual (French/English).

We thank all applicants for their interest. However, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted. Rheinmetall Canada is committed to employment equity.
