About the position

As an integral part of the Subcontract Management team, the Subcontract Contract Administrator performs the following tasks:

  • Drafting subcontract terms and conditions
  • Drafting collaboration agreements, memoranda of understanding, and proprietary information agreements, and processing agreements for approval
  • Preparing Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Organizing competitive tenders, evaluating proposals, and supporting source selection
  • Leading negotiations with subcontractors and, thereafter, until execution, managing documents related to subcontract contracts, including drafting correspondence, tracking deliverables, processing invoices, and maintaining the contractual file.

What you bring to the position

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration
  • Five to seven years of experience in subcontract administration or procurement in the defense sector
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate
  • Knowledge of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) procurement regulations and terms
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in managing a subcontract in the construction sector will be considered an asset.

Language requirements in Quebec

Knowledge of English is required for this position so that the candidate can perform all of their duties. The position described in this job offer requires the candidate to communicate daily with a virtual team outside of Quebec. The candidate will also need to communicate with different members of the organization, clients, and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate will also need to be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.
