Main responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the industrial performance of your sector. You will work with a multi-trade team (MFT) in the context of deploying a new continuous improvement system. Your main objectives will be:
● Implement and improve steering routines in collaboration with operational teams;
● Train/coach colleagues and managers on Lean tools and culture;
● Co-facilitate kaizen workshops in your sector;
● Measure and report maturity (KPI, activities, self-assessment);
● Facilitate strategic workshops and the roadmap for increasing maturity;
● Share best practices with other advisors.
SOUGHT PROFILE
● DEC or bachelor's degree (an asset) in industrial engineering (technical or bachelor's) with a continuous improvement orientation (3 to 5 years of experience) and/or in an operational management position in industry;
● Good knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles, methods, and tools;
● Ability to mentor team leaders and workshop managers, technicians, and colleagues on the use of continuous improvement tools;
● Understanding of the basics of change management and ability to adapt mentoring methods accordingly;
● Ability to provide structured feedback to leaders regarding routine management and performance dialogue;
● Ability to identify deviations from standards and propose simple recommendations through self-assessment.
