The opportunity
Air Canada is looking for bilingual agents to join the Sales and Customer Service team at our Montreal service centre. Agents are often the first point of contact for our customers, so making a positive first impression is essential.
What your day looks like
- Provide superior customer service by answering each call quickly, courteously and professionally.
- Serve as a reliable source of information about flights, fares, destinations and exclusive offers.
- Use Air Canada's internal reservation system to make new bookings or modify existing reservations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries.

Required skills and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to attend and successfully complete our paid training of approximately twelve (12) weeks full time.
- Available to work shift schedules.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems to assist customers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability to support team success in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the relevant country at the time of application; obtaining work permits/visas is the responsibility of the candidates.
Language requirements
Candidates must be fluent in English. Priority will be given to candidates who speak both English and French. Additional languages of interest include French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese or Mandarin.
Desired skills
- Experience in call-centre customer service.
- Experience in the travel industry.
- Practical knowledge of computer applications and the Internet.
