Job Description

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Procurement Operations Agent to join our Procurement Operations Airframe team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with cross-functional teams based in Mirabel, Quebec, Mobile, Alabama or elsewhere in the world.
You will be part of the Procurement Operations team responsible for procuring the parts required for manufacturing the A220 aircraft model.
The team is organized to promote cross‑functional collaboration in an autonomous manner, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as a Procurement Operations Agent will be to ensure the delivery of required parts on time and in good quality to our customer, the production line.
Responsibilities
Validate requirements and ensure execution of purchase order deliveries.
Manage purchase order placement and related administration (receiving, snags, invoices, inventory, safety stock parameters, etc.).
Analyze delivery delays and prioritize supplier deliveries to minimize impact on the production line.
Manage short‑ and long‑term operational planning (retrofit, shortages, etc.).
Monitor supply chain performance (receiving, stores, transport, shipping, etc.) and manage variances.
Ensure supplier interaction (on‑site or remote visits) with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Build strong relationships with internal teams such as Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM), Compliance Management (CM), engineering, methods, quality, production and strategic sourcing.
Manage non‑conforming parts (repair, returns, etc.).
Provide visibility of stock levels. Obtain and follow up on supplier action plans to maintain optimal levels.
Define the recovery plan with production teams if necessary. Understand the overall Value Stream Mapping (VSM) of your respective products.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in operations management or industrial management OR a college diploma in the same fields, with two (2) years or more of experience.
Good prioritization and multitasking skills.
Good knowledge of software such as Excel, Google Suite, etc.
Knowledge and experience with SAP.
APICS certification is an asset.
Bilingual (French and English), written and spoken.
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
