Under the supervision of the ramp supervisor, the incumbent acts as a ramp agent. They perform ramp agent duties and provide a safe, professional, courteous, and polite experience to passengers and crew members.

Description of main tasks:

  • Welcome passengers and crew members in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner;
  • Comply at all times with the application of safety rules on the ramp and in the hangar;
  • Prepare the aircraft for flight and customer acceptance;
  • Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures using hand signals;
  • Tow aircraft;
  • Fuel aircraft;
  • Loading/unloading;
  • Transportation of passengers/crew members;
  • Other related tasks.

Conditions :

  • Available Monday to Sunday
  • Irregular schedule
  • Hourly wage of $27

Required qualifications

  • Must hold at least a Canadian work permit;
  • Hold a valid driver's license (Class 5);
  • Class 3 driver's license (an asset);
  • Hold a airside vehicle operator's permit (AVOP) "D", or be ready to obtain it within the first 3 months of employment;
  • Eligible to obtain a restricted area identity card (RAIC);
  • Bilingual (spoken French and English) with our international clientele;
  • Experience in the aviation field (an asset);
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to work in different weather conditions (hot and cold);
  • Able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
