Ramp Agent

Reporting to the ramp supervisor, the incumbent in this position acts as a ramp agent. They perform ramp agent work and provide a safe, professional, courteous, and polite experience to passengers and crew members.

Main duties description:

• Welcome passengers and crew members in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner;
• Comply at all times with safety rules on the ramp and in the hangar;
• Prepare the aircraft for flight and customer acceptance;
• Guide aircraft during arrivals and departures using hand signals;
• Tow aircraft;
• Refuel aircraft;
• Loading/unloading;
• Transport of passengers/crew members;
• Other related tasks.

Conditions:

• Shift from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM or on-call according to operational needs
• Day or night shift between Monday and Sunday

Required Qualifications

• Must hold at least a Canadian work permit;
• Hold a valid driver's license (Class 5);
• Class 3 driver's license (an asset);
• Hold a Restricted Area Pass "D" (AVOP), or be ready to obtain it within the first 3 months of employment;
• Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
• Bilingual (spoken French and English);
• Experience in the aviation field (an asset);
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (hot and cold);
• Able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs).
