Shift premiums: Evening shift - $0.50 per hour worked between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Night shift - $1.00 per hour worked between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

What will you do today?

As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure aircraft are loaded and unloaded efficiently, ensuring flight safety and on-time performance. You may be asked to perform duties specifically associated with baggage and connecting passenger luggage or to work on the tarmac performing the many tasks necessary for successful operations.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

In our work environment, teamwork is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet. This is physically demanding work that involves staying in motion airside and in the baggage room. Because our operations run year-round, you must be prepared to work in all weather conditions.

To join us, you must:

  • Hold a valid driver's license - you will need to drive heavy equipment airside;
  • Be able to repeatedly lift 32 kg (70 lbs) loads;
  • Pass a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol screening test;
  • Be available to attend and successfully complete a five to seven-week paid full-time training program;
  • Be available to work rotating shifts over a 24-hour period (including weekends and holidays);
  • Pay attention to safety and security;
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, every day.
  • Show punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transport security clearances, as well as additional authorizations (please consult the Transport Canada website for more details)
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the country concerned at the time the job offer is made. Finding any necessary work permits/visas or other authorizations is the sole responsibility of candidates for this position.
