Shift premiums: Evening shift – $0.50 per hour worked between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Night shift – $1.00 per hour worked between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

What will you do today?

As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure that the loading and unloading of aircraft is carried out efficiently, ensuring the safety and punctuality of flights. You may be required to perform duties associated notably with baggage and connecting passenger luggage, or to work on the tarmac to execute the numerous tasks necessary for successful operations.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

In our work environment, teamwork is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our aircraft fleet. This is physically demanding work that involves staying in motion airside and in the baggage room. Since our operations take place year-round, you must be ready to work in all weather conditions.

To join us, you must:

  • Hold a valid driver's license – you will need to drive heavy equipment airside;
  • Be able to repeatedly lift loads of 32 kg (70 lbs);
  • Pass a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol screening test;
  • Be available to attend and successfully complete a paid nine (9) to ten (10) week full-time training program;
  • Be available to work rotating shifts over a 24-hour period (including weekends and holidays);
  • Pay attention to safety and security;
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team every day;
  • Show punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment;
  • Be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transport security clearance and additional authorizations (please consult Transport Canada's website for more details);
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the country concerned at the time the job offer is made. The search for any necessary work permits/visas or other authorizations is the sole responsibility of candidates for this position.
