- Contact and coordinate with suppliers to expedite processing or resolve issues related to urgent customer and replenishment orders.
- Handle supplier non-compliance cases regarding agreed-upon timelines and follow up as necessary to resolve delays.
- Analyze delivery delays, prioritize customer orders and zero-stock needs, and implement actions to minimize impact on customers.
- Measure supplier performance gaps against delivery commitments and drive corrective actions and recovery plans.
- Oversee escalations related to open order reports from the value stream logistics team and resolve exceptions with suppliers.
- Update required reports with supplier commitments and updates, including customer backlog management tools.
- Align and coordinate activities with the AOG (Aircraft on Ground) team to ensure prioritization of critical orders.
- Collaborate closely with the supplier management and performance team to optimize contracts, strengthen supplier relationships, and improve overall performance.
- Support supplier management reviews by preparing presentations, analyzing performance data, and coordinating evaluation meetings with key stakeholders.
Problem Solving and Compliance
- Work closely with the value stream logistics team to support material flow and problem solving, including managing purchase requests and their conversion, tracking purchase orders, delivery schedules, and invoices.
- Resolve order discrepancies, rejections, and claims with suppliers.
- Manage issues related to non-conforming quality materials, including repairs, returns, and coordination with Quality Assurance to resolve receiving notices.
- Support Supplier Evaluation Request (RFSE) processes for new suppliers and follow up on First Article Inspections (FAI).
Operational Support and Data Management
- Maintain close communication and alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure systems are up to date and adequately reflect information related to suppliers, procurement, and order execution, particularly lead times, minimum order quantities, and pricing conditions.
- Participate in special supplier-related projects, including compliance tracking and report generation.
Here is what is needed to succeed:
- College diploma or university degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in procurement, materials logistics, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or a related supply chain role.

- Ability to analyze order tracking reports, identify gaps, and effectively resolve supplier issues.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and solid problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
