Responsibilities

  • Safely perform aircraft marshalling on arrival and departure, secure the aircraft, provide valet/ground handling services and handle baggage when required.
  • Operate fuel tankers safely – refuel and fulfill aircraft fuel orders.
  • Carry out aviation/jet fuel quality checks by performing various tests and procedures.
  • Document fuel quality and inspections of refuelling equipment on the appropriate forms.
  • Tow aircraft inside and outside hangars and on apron areas.
  • Provide a range of ground services to aircraft (for example, connect ground generators, remove lavatory waste, supply potable water, etc.).
  • Ensure deicing equipment is ready and replenished during winter snowfall.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with customers and colleagues.
  • Keep all facilities and equipment clean.
  • Other duties as required.

Education & Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in aviation is considered an asset.
  • Must be a team player with good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather/environmental conditions.
