SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely perform aircraft entry and exit maneuvers upon arrival and departure, ensuring aircraft security and providing valet service, as well as baggage handling, if applicable;
  • Safely drive tanker trucks - refuel and fulfill aircraft orders;
  • Perform quality control checks on aviation/jet fuel by conducting various tests and procedures;
  • Document fuel quality and refueling equipment inspections on appropriate forms;
  • Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons;
  • Provide a number of ground services to aircraft (i.e., connect ground power units, dispose of toilet waste, provide drinking water, etc.);
  • Ensure de-icing equipment is ready and replenished during winter snowfalls;
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with clients and colleagues;
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment;
  • Other duties as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or GED required;
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset;
  • Must be a team player with good communication skills;
  • Must have basic computer skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Mechanically inclined is considered an asset;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather/environmental conditions.
