Senior Supplier Performance Management Agent

MHIRJ is the merger of two significant legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide full operational, engineering and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We are seeking a Senior Supplier Performance Management Agent to join our team!

Job Summary

The Supplier Performance Management Agent will work collaboratively with MHIRJ departments to develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances, while maintaining partnerships to develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances.

Your contribution as a Senior Supplier Performance Management Agent:

• Establish and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers from both business and contractual perspectives;
• Lead, develop and execute project-related strategies by drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet approved mandates defined by business requestors within agreed timelines;
• Identify, analyze and realize cost-reduction opportunities across all products;
• Collaborate with stakeholders and develop effective internal and external professional networks;
• Support internal department requirements with appropriate complex sourcing strategies while optimizing synergy opportunities within the MHI group;
• Manage supplier performance during the execution of complex initiatives and ensure contractual obligations are met;
• Support business requestors in pursuing contractual remedies for material breaches and lead negotiation of any claims against underperforming suppliers;
• Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with MHIRJ procurement policies and business requirements;
• Maintain governance records and KPIs in line with procurement balance dashboard objectives;
• Identify and implement improvements to procurement processes and tools.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, law or equivalent;
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in indirect procurement and contract management, ideally across multiple product lines;
• Experience in the aerospace and/or manufacturing sector in a commercial role is an asset;
• Excellent negotiation skills, proven commercial and contractual experience and legal knowledge;
• Enjoy sharing knowledge and coaching team members;
• Comfortable managing large-scale projects and presenting complex strategies to senior management;
• Strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills;
• Detail-oriented, focused and committed to meeting tight deadlines;
• Proven experience implementing cost-reduction initiatives;
• Ability to drive improvement and innovation to deliver tangible results to the organization;
• Fully autonomous and does not require close supervision;
• Fluent communicator in French and English (written and spoken);
• Strong financial management knowledge;
• Proficient with MS Office, ERP/S4 HANA and Power BI.
