Support Cargo Operations and office administration requirements in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities:
- Counter service Cargo acceptance in accordance with company, customs, TC, IATA and other competent authority regulations.
- Accept dangerous goods intended for transport by Air Canada, in accordance with Company, Transport Canada and Civil Aviation Administration of Germany regulations.
- Manage station Unit Load Device (ULD) inventory and liaise with Network Control - Air Canada Cargo in YYZ to ensure necessary equipment is always available in Frankfurt to support passenger and cargo operations.
- Implement the load plan and coordinate with the warehouse or ramp team to optimize space or mass utilization for each flight.
- Make entries in S4A/SmartLOAD. Monitor and coordinate ramp activities.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding cargo handling and packaging requirements as well as special services.
- Handle operational irregularities and disruptions.
- Manage and replenish office supplies of forms, labels, and stationery.
- Monitor high-value ULD preparations or high-tech shipments to prevent pilferage incidents when goods are in the cargo terminal.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the air cargo industry
- Two years of relevant work experience
