Job Posting: Logistics Coordinator – Aerospace

Location: Dorval (QC)
Duration: 4-week temporary mandate (possibility of extension)
Schedule: Full-time – day shift
Work Mode: On-site

About the Project

Are you passionate about international logistics and looking to grow in a world-class aerospace environment?

This opportunity will allow you to play a key role in coordinating national and international shipments of complex technological products. You will work closely with project teams, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure smooth and compliant logistics operations.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for executing shipments and optimizing transport processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate national and international shipments (air, sea, land)
  • Prepare and validate transport and customs documentation
  • Ensure compliance with approved carriers
  • Analyze transit times and optimize transport modes
  • Collaborate with customs to resolve delivery issues
  • Supervise the quality, accuracy, and completeness of shipments
  • Coordinate logistics activities with external warehouses (3PL)
  • Provide shipping instructions and training to internal teams
  • Act as SME for logistics tools, processes, and operations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (SOP, KPI)
  • Support the AOG Helpdesk as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

  • DEC or technical training in transport logistics (or equivalent) or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in international logistics
  • Experience in Canadian exportation (strong asset)
  • Dangerous goods certification (asset)

Technical Skills

  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end logistics processes
  • Experience with logistics tools (TMS, ERP, EDI, Maritime Traffic, CN/CP tracking)
  • Ability to analyze KPIs and transit times
  • Customs and compliance knowledge (asset)
  • Advanced Excel / Power BI skills (asset)
