Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Configuration Methods Agent:
Within a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to liaise with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods (preparation) manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantic Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the positions to which you will be assigned and you will have to anticipate the associated risks. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
You will mainly, but not limited to, have to:
Interpreting, checking and approving drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
Being able to understand, interpret and plan ATP tests on aircraft
Establishing assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
Preparing and presenting projects for validation with the different functions of the company.
Leading project monitoring meetings and keeping various monitoring files up to date
Updating performance indicators
Managing activities of the different project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation and production launch.
Harmonizing the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working closely with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments.
Managing change requests arising during project execution.

Required skills
You have a college or university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or any other relevant diploma
A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods.
Experience in the aeronautical sector and in production support in medium series
Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tool...)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards
Knowledge of systems (hydraulic, pneumatic)
Ability to create a manufacturing range and/or interpret it
Mastering the principles of tolerancing and dimensioning chain
Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus
Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5
Proactive
Team spirit, reactivity, rigor
French & English: spoken & written

Having good interpersonal skills and being able to demonstrate leadership.
Very good knowledge of one's technical limits.
Recognized for the ability to work both in a team and independently.
Has good interpersonal skills and knows how to adapt communication to the relevant interlocutor, whether internally or with the client they interact with daily. As such, their power of persuasion allows them to argue technical aspects with courtesy and pedagogy.
Enthusiastic by nature, likes to work in a fast-paced environment and unexpected situations.
Has the ability to respond calmly and reactively by providing quality work.
