Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Configuration Methods Agent:
Within a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to liaise with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods (Preparation) Manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantique Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the positions to which you will be assigned and you must anticipate associated risks. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
You will mainly be required, but not restricted to:
● Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
● Be able to understand, interpret and plan ATP tests on aircraft
● Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
● Prepare and present projects for validation with the various functions of the company.
● Lead project follow-up meetings and keep the various follow-up files up to date
● Keep performance indicators up to date
● Manage the activities of the various phases of projects: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation and production start-up.
● Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategy changes by working closely with the engineering, materials logistics, quality and production departments.
● Manage change requests occurring during the execution of projects.
Required Skills
● You have a college or university diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or any other relevant diploma
● A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods.
● Experience in the aeronautical sector and in medium-series production support
● Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tool...)
● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
● Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards
● Knowledge of systems (hydraulic, pneumatic)
● Ability to create a manufacturing process and/or interpret it
● Master the principles of tolerancing and dimension chains
● Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus
● Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5
● Proactive and full of proposals
● Team spirit, responsiveness, rigor
● French & English: spoken & written

● Have good relational skills and be able to demonstrate leadership.
● Very good knowledge of one's technical limits.
● Be recognized for the ability to work both in a team and independently.
● Possesses good relational skills and knows how to adapt communication to the relevant interlocutor, whether internally or toward the client encountered on a daily basis. As such, their power of conviction allows them to argue on technical aspects with courtesy and pedagogy.
● Naturally enthusiastic, likes to work in a fast-paced environment and handle unforeseen situations.
● Has the ability to respond with calm and responsiveness while providing quality work.
