Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Configuration Methods Agent:
Within a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to interact with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods (preparation) manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantique Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the positions to which you will be assigned and you must anticipate associated risks. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
You will mainly be required to, but not limited to:

• Interpret, verify, and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
• Be able to understand, interpret, and plan ATP tests on aircraft;
• Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
• Prepare and present projects for validation with the various functions of the company.
• Lead project tracking meetings and keep various tracking files up to date.
• Keep performance indices up to date.
• Manage activities across various project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation, and production launch.
• Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with engineering, material logistics, quality, and production departments.
• Manage change requests arising during project execution.

Required Skills

• You have a college or university diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or any other relevant diploma.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods.
• Experience in the aeronautical sector and in medium-series production support.
• Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools...)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards.
• Knowledge of systems (hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Ability to create a manufacturing routing and/or interpret it.
• Mastery of tolerancing principles and dimensional chains.
• Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5.
• Proactive mindset.
• Team spirit, responsiveness, thoroughness.
• French & English: spoken & written.
