Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Configuration Methods Agent:
Within a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to liaise with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods (Preparation) Manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantique Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the positions to which you will be assigned and you must anticipate the associated risks. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Interpreting, verifying, and approving drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
Being able to understand, interpret, and plan ATP aircraft tests;
Establishing assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
Preparing and presenting projects for validation with the company's various functions;
Managing project monitoring meetings and keeping various tracking files up to date;
Keeping performance indicators up to date;
Managing activities across different project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation, and production startup;
Harmonizing the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments;
Managing change requests occurring during project execution.
Desired Skills
You have a college or university diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or any other relevant diploma;
A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods;
Experience in the aeronautical sector and in medium-batch production support;
Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools, etc.);
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards;
Knowledge of systems (hydraulic, pneumatic);
Ability to create and/or interpret a manufacturing routing;
Mastery of tolerancing and dimensional chain principles;
Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus;
Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5;
Proactive mindset;
Team spirit, responsiveness, thoroughness;
French & English: spoken & written
Aptitudes
Good interpersonal skills and leadership abilities;
Very good awareness of technical limits;
Recognized for the ability to work both in a team and autonomously;
Possesses good interpersonal skills and knows how to adapt communication to the relevant interlocutor, whether internally or with clients met daily. As such, persuasiveness allows for arguing technical aspects with courtesy and pedagogy;
Enthusiastic nature, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with unforeseen situations;
Ability to respond calmly and reactively while delivering quality work.
