The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for 1 aircraft single part method agent (RNC) to join our tooling team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the methods departments to meet their requirements.

As part of your position, you will be part of the tooling team and responsible for creating manufacturing routings and commissioning single parts necessary for production.

Your role as a method agent will be to evaluate incoming requests for the manufacture of single aircraft parts following non-compliance, evaluate if internal capacities are sufficient, issue manufacturing routings, and follow up with internal trades on material transformation operations

Your challenges:

• Analyze requests and check if Airbus Canada has internal capability
• Support different trades in meeting the production schedule
• Process review and planning assistance
• Assist the coordinator as needed
• Master communication with clients (internal and external)

Your profile:

• You hold a degree (CEGEP, Bachelor's) in engineering or mechanics
• Experience in creating manufacturing routings
• You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial sector or in a similar position, all combinations of relevant training and experience could be considered
• Experience in manufacturing and quality processes (aerospace an asset)
• Experience in cycle time estimation
• Knowledge of production processes, bending, machining
• Knowledge and experience in surface / thermal treatments
• Knowledge of SAP (Asset)
• Availability on weekends occasionally for operational requirements
• You are recognized for your reliability and autonomy in your work as well as your ability to work in a team
• You master French and English, an asset
