Method Agent — Aircraft Part Manufacturing (Evening)

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for one Method Agent for aircraft one-off parts (RNC) to join our tooling team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will work jointly with the methods departments to meet their requirements.

As part of this role, you will be part of the tooling team and responsible for creating manufacturing sequences and commissioning one-off parts required for production.

As a Method Agent, your role will be to assess incoming requests for manufacturing one-off aircraft parts following non-conformities, determine whether internal capabilities are sufficient, issue manufacturing sequences, and follow up with internal trades on material transformation operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requests and verify whether Airbus Canada has the internal capability
• Support the various trades to meet the production schedule
• Process review and planning assistance
• Assist the coordinator as needed
• Maintain effective communication with clients (internal and external)

Requirements

• Diploma (CEGEP, Bachelor's) in engineering or mechanical studies
• Experience in creating manufacturing sequences
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the industrial sector or in a similar position; relevant combinations of education and experience may be considered
• Experience in manufacturing and quality processes (aeronautics is an asset)
• Experience in cycle time estimation
• Knowledge of production processes: bending, machining
• Knowledge and experience of surface/thermal treatments
• Knowledge of SAP (asset)
• Occasional weekend availability for operational requirements
• Recognized for reliability and autonomy in work and ability to work in a team
• Proficiency in French and English is an asset
