Responsibilities

  • Draft, validate, and correct assembly instructions or manufacturing process sheets intended for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components;
  • Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
  • Define the tools required for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with the engineering, material logistics, quality, and production departments;
  • Take an active part in production support by coordinating technical problem-solving with other support departments;
  • Stay on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies while participating in research and development projects.

Profile Sought

  • You have a college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, or in aeronautical manufacturing, or a minimum of 5 years in a related discipline;
  • You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
  • You have good logic and a strong mechanical aptitude;
  • You are familiar with MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • You are familiar with computer-aided design software such as Catia, AutoCad, and Enovia;
  • You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN and SAP;
  • You have a background in continuous improvement project management;
  • You have an excellent team spirit, and you are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
  • You master the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language.
