Responsibilities
- Draft, validate, and correct assembly instructions or manufacturing routes intended for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components;
- Interpret drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
- Define the tools required for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
- Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working in close collaboration with the engineering, material logistics, quality, and production departments;
- Take an active part in production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support departments;
- Stay on top of ways to improve assembly and fabrication strategies and take part in research and development projects.
Profile Sought
- You have a college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or a minimum of 5 years in a related discipline;
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
- You have good logic and a good mechanical mindset;
- You know MS Office suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- You know computer-aided design software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia;
- You know Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP;
- You have a background in continuous improvement project management;
- You have an excellent team spirit, and you are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
- You master the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language.
