The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Method Agent to join our Manufacturing Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will produce visual work instructions to assemble the A220 Aircraft.
You will be part of the A220 Manufacturing Engineering team responsible for translating engineering requirements into an optimal assembly sequence for the assembly of the A220 aircraft..
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Method Agent will be to prepare the visual instructions and work sequences, with respect to engineering requirements and industry specifications, for electrical and avionic system installation on aircraft, using different software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia.

Your challenges:
- Define and write instructions and work sequences, with respect to engineering requirements and industry specifications, for electrical, mechanical and as an asset avionic system installation on aircraft, using different software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia;
- Participate in the investigation of root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of production changes and introduction of new configuration;
- Support the daily activities of production;
- Participate in the definitions of tooling requirements, assembly and the implementation of various production equipment according to the optimal methodology taking into account the health / safety component.
Your boarding pass:
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience in configuration management for electrical and avionics systems, either as a Methods Agent in the aerospace industry or in a manufacturing setting;
- You have completed a DEC in aeronautics, ideally avionic specialty, or engineering electrical degree or other related education;
- You have a good understanding of ERP system principles and an extended knowledge of SAP Methods transactions, 3D visual software such 3Dvia considered an asset;
- You have a good level of knowledge in French and English spoken and written;
- You have good organizational and planning skills in order to meet your commitments;
- You are resourceful, autonomous, motivated with good problem-solving skills;
- You have good judgment and you work well in a multidisciplinary team.
