You have 5 to 10 years of experience in Electrical and Avionics Configuration Management, you have worked as a Method Agent and you want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Configuration Method Agent in Electrical and Avionics systems installation to join our Configuration Method team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Engineering team to introduce configuration changes into the assembly manuals.

You will be part of the A220 Configuration Methods team responsible for translating engineering requirements into optimal assembly sequences for the assembly of the A220 aircraft.

The team organization is established to promote autonomous cross-collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.

Your role as Method Agent will be to prepare visual work instructions for the installation of electrical and avionics components on the aircraft using various software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia.

Your challenges:

• Define and write work instructions and sequences, according to engineering requirements and company specifications, for the installation of electrical and avionics components on the aircraft using various software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia;

• Participate in the investigation of root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a production change;

• Participate in the planning and implementation of production changes or the introduction of new configurations and coordinate the first unit;

• Support daily production activities;

• Participate in the definition of tooling requirements, assembly and the implementation of various production equipment according to the optimal methodology taking into account the health / safety component.

Your profile:

• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in configuration management of Electrical and avionics installations, as a Methods Agent, in aeronautics or in a manufacturing industry;

• You have completed a DEC in aeronautics, preferably avionic specialty, or a university level in electrical engineering or other related specialty;

• You have a very good command of SAP processes and transactions related to the Method Agent functions, visual management software such as 3Dvia are an asset;

• You have a good level of knowledge in spoken and written French and English;

• You have good organizational and planning skills to meet your commitments;

• You are resourceful, autonomous and motivated with good problem-solving skills;

• You have good judgment and you work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Your boarding pass:

• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in configuration management for electrical and avionics systems, either as a Methods Agent in the aerospace industry or in a manufacturing setting;

• You have completed a DEC in aeronautics, ideally avionic specialty, or engineering electrical degree or other related education;

• You have a good understanding of ERP system principles and an extended knowledge of SAP Methods transactions, 3D visual software such 3Dvia considered an asset;

• You have a good level of knowledge in French and English spoken and written;

• You have good organizational and planning skills in order to meet your commitments;

• You are resourceful, autonomous, motivated with good problem-solving skills;

• You have good judgment and you work well in a multidisciplinary team.
