The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Configuration Methods Agent in Electrical and Avionics systems installation to join our Configuration Methods team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will, jointly with the Engineering team, introduce configuration changes into the assembly manuals.
You will be part of the A220 Configuration Methods team responsible for translating engineering requirements into an optimal assembly sequence for the assembly of the A220 aircraft.
The team's organization is established to promote autonomous cross-collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role as Methods Agent will be to prepare visual work instructions for the installation of electrical and avionics components on the aircraft using various software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia.

Your challenges:
- Define and write work instructions and sequences, according to engineering requirements and company specifications, for the installation of electrical and avionics components on the aircraft using different software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia;
- Participate in the investigation of the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts, and risks of a production change;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of production changes or the introduction of new configurations and coordinate the first unit;
- Support daily production activities;
- Participate in the definition of tooling requirements, assembly, and implementation of various production equipment according to the optimal methodology taking into account the health/safety component.
Your boarding pass:
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience in configuration management for Electrical and avionics installations, as a Methods Agent, in aeronautics or in a manufacturing industry;
- You have completed a DEC in aeronautics, preferably avionic specialty, or a university level in electrical engineering or another related specialty;
- You have a very good command of SAP processes and transactions related to the functions of the Methods Agent, visual management software such as 3Dvia is an asset;
- You have a good level of spoken and written French and English;
- You have good organizational and planning skills to meet your commitments;
- You are resourceful, autonomous, and motivated with good problem-solving skills;
- You have good judgment and you work well within a multidisciplinary team.
