Methods Agent Config Install Mech & Structure

You have 5 to 10 years of experience in Mechanical and Structure Configuration Management? Have you worked as a Methods Agent and want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

We are looking for a Configuration Methods Agent in Mechanical and Structure Systems Installation to join our A220 Flight Test Configuration Methods team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Engineering team to introduce configuration changes into assembly books.

You will be part of the A220 Configuration Methods Test Means team responsible for translating engineering requirements into optimal assembly sequences used for assembling the A220 aircraft.

Your role as a Methods Agent will be to prepare visual work instructions for the installation of mechanical and structural components on the aircraft using various software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia.

Your challenges:

• Define and write work instructions and sequences, according to engineering requirements and company specifications, for the installation of mechanical and structural components on test benches or test aircraft using various software such as SAP, CATIA V5
• Participate in root cause investigation of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts, and risks of an aircraft change
• Participate in meetings for the planning and implementation of production changes or the introduction of new configuration on test benches or test aircraft
• Support daily manufacturing activities of Flight Tests
• Participate in the definition of tooling requirements, assembly and implementation of various production equipment according to optimal methodology taking health/safety components into account
• Review and sign various engineering documents (Drawings, NIEO's, AMO's).
