Methods Agent Config Install Mech & Structure

You have 5 to 10 years of experience in Mechanical and Structure Configuration Management? Have you worked as a Methods Agent and want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

We are looking for a Configuration Methods Agent in Mechanical and Structure Systems Installation to join our A220 Flight Test Configuration Methods team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Engineering team to introduce configuration changes into the assembly manuals.

You will be part of the A220 Flight Test Configuration Methods Tools team responsible for translating engineering requirements into an optimal assembly sequence for assembling the A220 aircraft.

Your role as a Methods Agent will be to prepare visual work instructions for the installation of mechanical and structural components on the aircraft using various software such as SAP, CATIA V5 and 3DVia.

Your challenges:

• Define and write work instructions and sequences, according to engineering requirements and company specifications, for the installation of mechanical and structural components on test benches or test aircraft using various software such as SAP, CATIA V5
• Participate in the investigation of root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change on an aircraft
• Participate in meetings for the planning and implementation of production changes or the introduction of new configuration on test benches or test aircraft
• Support daily manufacturing activities of Flight Tests
• Participate in the definition of tooling requirements, assembly and implementation of various production equipment according to optimal methodology taking into account the health/safety component
• Review and sign various engineering documents (Drawings, NIEO's, AMO's).
