Our Airbus Atlantique site located in Mirabel is looking for a new team member.
As part of a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to work with Production to provide technical support to production operators and to control an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods (preparation) manager for the G7500 and A220 programs at the Airbus Atlantique Canada site in Mirabel, you will be responsible for mastering the assembly phases of the stations to which you are assigned and for anticipating associated risks. Your daily work must comply with health and safety standards.

Main responsibilities
- Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department
- Define assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components
- Prepare and present projects for validation with the company's different functions
- Lead project follow-up meetings and keep tracking files up to date
- Maintain performance indicators
- Manage activities of project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, procurement, implementation and production ramp-up
- Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategy changes by working closely with engineering, material logistics, quality and production
- Handle change requests that arise during project execution
Required skills
- College or university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or aerospace manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of methods experience
- Experience in the aerospace sector and in support of medium-series production
- Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to use and interpret aviation standards
- Ability to create and/or interpret a manufacturing routing
- Mastery of tolerancing principles and dimension chains
- Knowledge of elementary parts is a plus
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5
- Proactive mindset
- Team spirit, responsiveness and rigor
- French and English: spoken and written

- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- Good communication skills adapted to the audience, with the ability to argue technical points courteously and pedagogically

- Ability to respond calmly and promptly while delivering quality work
