Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Configuration Methods Agent
Within a team of fifteen people, your main task will be to liaise with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and to master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods (preparation) manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantic Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the positions to which you will be assigned and you will have to anticipate the associated risks. Your daily work must be carried out in compliance with health and safety standards.

Main tasks
Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
Prepare and present projects for validation with the various functions of the company
Lead project follow-up meetings and update the various follow-up files
Keep performance indicators up to date
Manage the activities of the different phases of projects: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation and production.
Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategy by working in close collaboration with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments.
Manage change requests occurring during project realization;
Required skills
You have a college or university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or aeronautical manufacturing
A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods
Experience in the aeronautical sector and in production support for medium series
Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tool, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards
Ability to create and/or interpret a manufacturing range
Mastery of tolerancing principles and dimensioning chains
Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus
Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5

Very good knowledge of technical limits.
