In this role you will be called upon to produce work instructions in collaboration with the engineering, materials logistics, quality, and production departments. You will need to be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects. It is essential to have good logic and a strong mechanical mindset in order to determine the correct assembly sequences.
In your duties, you will be called upon to:
- Establish assembly manuals intended for the assembly/disassembly of aircraft components;
- Participate in the development and optimization of processes related to the methods function;
- Audit certain processes to validate their proper functioning and provide certain recommendations;
- Manage short and/or medium-term projects of varying complexity;
- Provide technical support for daily production activities.
As the ideal candidate, you possess:
- You have a college and/or university diploma in mechanical engineering, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, in aeronautical manufacturing, or in a related discipline;
- 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in aeronautics, ideally on the A220;
- You have the knowledge to read technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and a strong analytical mind;
- You have good logic and a strong mechanical mindset;
- You have knowledge of computer-aided design software such as Catia, Enovia, and also Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP, etc.;
- You have mastery of the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language.
