Job Description

In this role, you will be required to produce work instructions in collaboration with the engineering, material logistics, quality, and production departments. You will need to be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects. It is essential to have good logic and mechanical aptitude to determine the correct assembly sequences.

In your duties, you will be required to:

  • Establish assembly manuals for the assembly/disassembly of aircraft components;
  • Participate in the development and optimization of processes related to the methods function;
  • Audit certain processes to validate their proper functioning and provide certain recommendations;
  • Manage short and/or medium duration and complexity projects;
  • Provide technical support for daily production activities.

Requirements

As an ideal candidate, you have:

  • A college and/or university degree in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or a related discipline;
  • 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in aeronautics, ideally on the A220;
  • Knowledge for reading technical drawings and good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
  • Good logic and mechanical aptitude;
  • Knowledge of computer-aided design software such as Catia, Enovia, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP, etc;
  • Proficiency in French, both oral and written, and good knowledge of English.
