Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for producing work instructions in collaboration with engineering, materials logistics, quality and production departments. You will need to be alert to ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and to take part in research and development projects. Strong logical and mechanical thinking is essential to determine correct assembly sequences.
Responsibilities
- Develop assembly manuals for the assembly/disassembly of aircraft components;
- Participate in the development and optimization of processes related to the methods function;
- Audit certain processes to validate proper functioning and provide recommendations;
- Manage short- and medium-duration projects of varying complexity;
- Provide technical support for daily production activities.
Requirements
As an ideal candidate, you have:
- A college and/or university degree in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or a related discipline;
- 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in aerospace, ideally with the A220;
- Ability to read technical drawings, good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
- Strong logical and mechanical aptitude;
- Knowledge of CAD software such as Catia and Enovia, and ERP systems such as SAP;
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) and a good command of English.
