Responsibilities:

• Implement innovative solutions to improve processes while reducing costs;
• Influence and facilitate communications between internal stakeholders;
• Be an agent of change to promote the internal customer service culture;
• Be a leader in continuous improvement and problem-solving opportunities, ePPS;
• Be responsible for synthesizing simple to complex situations in order to present them at different levels of assembly management or manufacturing range intended for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components;
• Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
• Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
• Define the tools necessary for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
• Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments and other methods functions of the organization;
• Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and take part in research and development projects.

Desired profile

• You hold a college diploma (DEC / AEC) and/or university degree in mechanical, industrial or aeronautical manufacturing engineering or in a related discipline;
• You have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
• You have knowledge of interior finishing (an asset);
• You have general knowledge of the dependencies between the different positions of the aeronautical manufacturing system;
• You have detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality and production processes;
• You demonstrate strong leadership, are able to question processes, but also a willingness to help your colleagues and other functions grow.
