Responsibilities:
- Implement innovative solutions to improve processes while reducing costs;
- Influence and facilitate communications between internal stakeholders;
- Be an agent of change to promote the internal customer service culture;
- Be a leader in continuous improvement and problem-solving opportunities, ePPS;
- Be responsible for synthesizing simple to complex situations in order to present them at different levels of assembly management or manufacturing range intended for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components;
- Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
- Define the tools necessary for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
- Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments and other methods functions of the organization;
- Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and take part in research and development projects.
Desired profile
- You hold a college diploma (DEC / AEC) and/or university degree in mechanical, industrial or aeronautical manufacturing engineering or in a related discipline;
- You have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
- You have knowledge of interior finishing (an asset);
- You have general knowledge of the dependencies between the different positions of the aeronautical manufacturing system;
- You have detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality and production processes;
- You demonstrate strong leadership, are able to question processes, but also a willingness to help your colleagues and other functions grow.
