Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Configuration Methods Agent:
Within a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to liaise with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.

Under the supervision of the Methods (preparation) manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantique Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the positions to which you will be assigned, and you must anticipate associated risks. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Your duties will primarily include, but are not limited to:

• Requesting the creation of an OMP for a repair part
• Supporting production in carrying out repair work
• Creating the repair process without deviation (e.g., replacement of a part)
• Understanding sequencing and the industrial process
• Supporting installations
• Creating repair processes related to deviations
• Communicating change requests to series preparers
• Modifying manufacturing orders as needed (adding missing parts...)
• Making necessary corrections to technical sheets if possible or reporting information to series preparers
• Monitoring work completed at the end of an assembly to quickly take charge of files to be split for finishing work

Desired Skills

• You have a college or university diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or any other relevant diploma
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods.
• Experience in the aeronautical sector and in medium-series production support
• Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards
• Ability to create a manufacturing process and/or interpret it
• Master tolerancing and chain of dimensions principles
• Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5
• Proactive, team spirit, responsiveness, and rigor
• French & English: spoken & written
