Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future configuration Methods Agent:
Within a team of about fifteen people, your main task will be to liaise with the Production sector to provide technical support to production operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.

Under the supervision of the Methods (preparation) Manager for the G7500 and A220 programs for the Airbus Atlantique Canada site in Mirabel, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the stations to which you will be assigned and you must anticipate associated risks. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
You will mainly be required to, but not limited to:

  • Request the creation of an OMP for a repair part
  • Support production in carrying out repair work
  • Create the repair routing without deviation (i.e. replacement of a part)
  • Understand sequencing and the industrial process
  • Support installations
  • Create repair routings related to deviations
  • Communicate change requests to series preparers
  • Modify manufacturing orders as needed (addition of missing parts...)
  • Make necessary corrections to technical sheets if possible or report information to series preparers
  • Monitor work performed at the end of an assembly to quickly take charge of files to be divided for finishing operations

Desired Skills

• You have a college or university diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing, or any other relevant diploma
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in methods.
• Experience in the aeronautical sector and in production support in medium series
• Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tool...)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards
• Ability to create a manufacturing routing and/or interpret it
• Master the principles of tolerancing and dimension chains
• Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Catia V5
• Proactive, team spirit, responsiveness, and rigor
• French & English: spoken & written

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership.
• Very good knowledge of one's technical limits.
• Recognized for the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
• Possesses good relational skills and knows how to adapt communication to the interlocutor concerned, whether internally or towards the client they deal with on a daily basis. As such, their power of persuasion allows them to argue on technical aspects with courtesy and pedagogy.
• Enthusiastic by nature, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with unforeseen situations.
• Has the ability to respond with calm and responsiveness while providing quality work.
