Mechanical Assembly Quality Agent

EXPLEO GROUP CANADA is looking for a Mechanical Assembly Quality Agent to join a dynamic and expanding team in Mirabel, Quebec.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify assembled products for dimensional accuracy, fit, function, and cosmetic standards.

• Perform in-process and final quality checks using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

• Identify, document, and report any non-conformances or assembly defects.

• Maintain inspection records and quality reports according to company and industry standards.

• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to suggest improvements in assembly processes and product quality.

• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.

• Maintain 5S standards and follow lean manufacturing principles on the production floor.

• Complete production and quality checklists, forms, and logs accurately.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations (e.g., ISO, internal QA standards).

• Assist in audits and process validations as required.

Qualifications:

• DEP in structural assembly and at least 2 years of experience as a structural assembler.

• 5 years of experience as an inspector in the aerospace industry or in a related field involving assembly.

• DEC or AEC in aircraft mechanics or maintenance, plus 2 years of relevant assembly experience.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Good understanding of aerospace assembly processes and inspection tools.

• Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and quality documentation.
