The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking pre-flight mechanical inspectors to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

Your challenges:

  • Conduct inspections of airframes, engines and functional equipment of the aircraft to ensure compliance with standards and specifications indicated on the plans and / or manuals;

  • Approve any aircraft or any component within its authority;

  • Ensure to manage all files, all registrations and all regulations applicable to the aircraft;

  • Maintain logbooks of aircraft to quality audits and perform other related duties;

  • Other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Your boarding pass:

  • A D.C.S. or A.C.S. Aircraft Maintenance and 5 years of experience OR;

  • An M2 license and 5 years of experience as a preflight mechanic in the aerospace field OR;

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a preflight mechanic (460 internally) within the last 5 years; AND

  • You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team;

  • You will be required to work in an enclosed space;

  • You will be required to work of up to 30 feet on a regular basis;

  • Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions as required by the job.
